The short version

The free calculator runs entirely in your browser. The numbers you type into it — your income, filing status, or any other figure — are never sent to ClearQuarter, never stored, and never transmitted anywhere. If you choose to buy the Quarterly Action Sheet, a third-party payment processor (Razorpay) handles your payment details; ClearQuarter does not receive your card information.

What the calculator collects

Nothing. The calculator is built with plain HTML, CSS, and JavaScript that runs only in your browser. There is no backend server, no database, and no analytics script on the calculator page. Your inputs exist only in your browser's memory while you use the tool and disappear when you close or refresh the page.

What the website collects

The site itself does not use analytics, advertising pixels, or tracking scripts. Standard web server/hosting logs (such as those kept by our static host) may record basic technical information like IP address and browser type for security and reliability purposes — this is infrastructure-level logging by the hosting provider, not something ClearQuarter separately collects or analyzes.

What happens if you buy the Quarterly Action Sheet

Purchases are processed by Razorpay, a third-party payment processor. When you pay, Razorpay collects your payment details (such as card or UPI information) and your email address to process the transaction and deliver the product. ClearQuarter does not receive or store your raw card details. ClearQuarter's seller dashboard shows limited transaction information (such as your email address, the amount paid, and the date) needed to fulfill your order and respond to support requests.

What happens if you contact support

If you email PLACEHOLDER_SUPPORT_EMAIL, we receive whatever information you choose to include in that email (such as your email address and your message) in order to respond to you. We don't use a contact form, so no additional information is collected beyond what you write.

Third parties actually used

• Razorpay — payment processing. See Razorpay's own privacy policy for how it handles payment data.

No other third-party service is currently installed on this site. If that changes, this policy will be updated first.

Retention

ClearQuarter retains support-email correspondence as long as reasonably needed to resolve your request and for basic record-keeping. Payment and transaction retention is determined by Razorpay's own policies and applicable financial recordkeeping requirements, not by ClearQuarter directly — see Razorpay's privacy policy for specifics.

Your rights

You can ask what information we hold about you (limited to support correspondence and the Razorpay dashboard's transaction record, as described above) and ask us to delete support correspondence by emailing PLACEHOLDER_SUPPORT_EMAIL. Requests about payment data itself should also be directed to Razorpay, since they hold that information.

Cross-border processing

ClearQuarter is operated from India and serves customers primarily in the United States. Payment processing through Razorpay involves standard cross-border payment data flows inherent to international card/payment processing.
